College Ready Summer Intensive

for Entering Freshmen

College is right around the corner and it's time to begin preparing for what's next.  The College Ready Summer Intensive is your way forward.  CRSI is a 4-hour workshop designed to help first-time first-year students prepare for college success.  Even if you don't realize it, you have an idea of the type of first semester you want to have and I'm guessing you want it to be great. How you approach your new college environment can make all the difference.  Whether your fall semester is in-person or virtual, the moves you make toward academic success are the same.  CRSI outlines them for you.

CRSI takes place over two days (August 4 and August 6), with two 45-minute sessions each day, for a total of four sessions.  Professionals in each area of focus will share information and strategies for:

  • The basics (syllabi, grading rubrics, grade trackers, time management)

  • Mental wellness

  • Creating habits

  • Learning styles
