Tassel to Tassel offers a variety of coaching programs for freshmen and workshops to meet the needs of entering college freshmen (and their parents). Check out our menu of services below and contact us to discuss how Tassel to Tassel can meet your needs.

COACHING PROGRAMS

All coaching programs are delivered virtually to reach students regardless of location.  Primary services are short, intensive programs designed to provide a boost at the beginning of each semester.  You have the option of enrolling in either the live or asynchronous version of each program.  All programs include:

  • Four live (or asynchronous) sessions with recorded playback

  • Program workbook

  • Virtual office hours

  • Online community

  • Copy of College Ready 101 ebook

Tassel to Tassel workshops are designed to ease the transition from high school to college.  Our signature workshops are listed below and can be customized for you.  However, we will happily create one to meet the needs of your audience.

Freshman Jump Start

Four-week web-based coaching program where freshmen learn how to navigate their new environment and get strategies to design a successful freshman year. Includes strategies for time management, beginning professional relationships, and actively engaging in the educational process. (September)

Mid-Term Accelerator

Four-week web-based coaching program to guide freshmen students through second half of the fall semester. Learn strategies for improving academic performance and balancing freshman life in addition to time management and developing effective study habits. (Mid-October – Mid-November)

Spring Fresh Start

Four-week web-based coaching program where freshmen learn how to navigate their new environment and get strategies to design a successful spring semester. Includes strategies for self-discovery, time management, creating professional relationships, and actively engaging in the educational process. (January)

From College Bound to College Ready

Being accepted to college is just the beginning. Everyone knows you have to apply, visit, and complete lots of forms, but are students ready when college life gets real? This 45-minute talk shares some easy tips to begin envisioning yourself as a college freshman (or college parent). Ideal for high school juniors, seniors, and parents.

The College Ready Mentality TM

​Being a great high school student doesn't automatically translate into being a great college student. In this 45-minute talk, students will receive strategies for living their best #freshmanlife and actively engaging in the educational process. Ideal for recent high school graduates (and parents).

The College Ready Parent TM

Sending your child off to college can be scary and exciting. How do you support without smothering? This 45-minute talk shares 10 ways parents can prepare for the shift in responsibility and communication that comes with being a college parent.  Ideal for first-time college parents.

Your Major Decision is a Minor Factor

Choosing a college is one of the first big decisions you will make in your life.  This 30-minute talk highlights the importance of identifying both what you enjoy and a major that creates the most options for you.  Ideal for high school juniors and seniors, and their parents.
